Table tennis women’s singles final is all-Singapore
As a result of Feng Tianwei and Zeng Jian’s victories on Saturday in their respective matches in the semi-finals of the women’s singles competition at the Commonwealth Games, Singapore is certain to earn an additional gold medal at the competition (Aug 6).
Both were forced to their limits by their competitors, with Zeng deciding to accept an alternate appearance from two amateurs in the lower bracket in order to defeat Australian Liu Yangzi 4-2. (11-7, 11-7, 10-12, 4-11, 6-11, 9-11).

Achanta was previously a member of the India team that won the men’s table tennis match against Singapore on Tuesday. They did it by defeating their opponent in the final.
At this point in the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Singapore has been awarded five medals: one gold medal, three silver medals, and one bronze medal.
