Kim Soo-Hyun Edited Out of Good Day Following Allegations Involving Kim Sae-Ron
Popular South Korean actor Kim Soo-Hyun has been completely edited out of the latest episode of MBC’s variety show Good Day, following growing controversy around his alleged relationship with the late actress Kim Sae-Ron.
The episode, which aired on June 6, showed scenes with other cast members like Code Kunst, Im Si-wan, Jung Hae-in, Hwang Kwang-hee, Jo Se-ho, and DAY6, but Kim Soo-Hyun was nowhere to be seen. He was also missing from key segments, including the group song recording.
Last month, the show’s production team had already announced that they would remove all scenes featuring the actor. They later apologized to fans for the sudden change and the technical challenges they faced during editing.
The decision comes amid serious allegations against Kim Soo-Hyun, including claims that he dated Kim Sae-Ron when she was a minor. There are also accusations that he and his agency pressured her to repay a debt, which some believe contributed to her tragic death.
According to the Seongdong PoliceKim Sae-Ron died by suicide on February 16 at her home in Seoul. This controversy has gained public attention, and Kim Soo-Hyun continues to face backlash as more details come to light.
