Vince Neil, the lead singer of the legendary rock band Motley Crue, owns a Learjet 35A that was involved in a fatal accident at Scottsdale Airport on Monday, February 10. The jet veered off the runway and collided with a parked Gulfstream G200 because of this one person lost his life and several others got injuries. Authorities confirmed that Neil was not aboard the plane at the time of the accident.
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes said she was “devastated” to hear about the crash.
What Happened in the Crash?
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. Four people were aboard Neil’s Learjet while one person was in the parked Gulfstream. Emergency responders transported three injured individuals to hospitals, with two in critical condition. The crash temporarily shut down the airport’s runway. Officials believe a landing gear failure may have caused the accident.
