UAE-Funded Orphanage Opens in Ethiopia, Transforming Lives in Oromia

Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art orphanage in Oromia. This orphanage is built with the support from the United Arab Emirates. This project highlights the commitment of UAE of humanitarian efforts and developmental in Africa.
The newly constructed orphanage developed at a cost of 20 million AED. This orphanage will provides residences for over 700 orphan children. Under this orphanage construction two schools, a kindergarten, a library, a training center, and recreational spaces are included. It also includes modern administrative offices and a good water supply.

Dr. Abiy the Prime Minister of Ethopia expressed his gratitude to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. They thanked UAE for standing with Ethiopia and supporting the nation for development. These support and mutual nearness shows the strength of the partnership between the two nations Ethopia and UAE.
Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent Dr. Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei also highlighted that the project reflects the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the UAE’s current leadership. He also appericiated the dedication of UAE to expanding its humanitarian initiatives in Ethiopia.
A New Ray of Hope for Vulnerable Children
This newly build orphanage is a lifeline for children in the Oromia region. This will not only provide home but also give them ooportunity of quality education and a growth in good enviornment. This project in African nation is a part of UAE mission to foster sustainable development and boost social welfare in Ethiopia.
This project is another step forward in the partnership between the UAE and Ethiopia.
