Trump Claims Close Relationship with Putin, Vows to End Ukraine War
Currently, former president, who is now candidate for president, Donald Trump, got to the headlines because of what he said about Russia’s leader Vladimir Putin. In a massive rally with his followers in Pennsylvania, Trump stated he and Putin are the best of friends. He also mentioned that if he were still the president of the United States, Russia would not invade Ukraine. These comments are provoking a lot of discussion as people speculate on Trump’s friendship with Putin and what might happen if Trump gets re-elected this year.
