It is a Berlin-based firm formed in 2020, is an all-in-one software operations solution that helps businesses manage their D2C brand throughout fulfilment. Hive has funded €36 million so far to democratise e-commerce operations and employ technology to empower D2C brands to operate their businesses on auto-pilot. Businesses can use Hive’s own warehousing solution to integrate their existing e-commerce stores. From start to end, Hive manages inventories, orders, and returns, ensuring everyone’s safety.
3) Klima
It is a climate app that allows users to calculate their carbon footprint, offset it by supporting verified climate projects, and live a carbon-free lifestyle. Klima is a sustainability-focused firm that has raised over €15 million for its objective to turn climate neutrality into a global movement and scale individual action. Klima’s offset portfolio incorporates natural, technological, and social solutions to create a comprehensive climate action that encourages green innovation. The company provides a monthly tailored carbon offset depending on each person’s carbon footprint. Klima was another one of our climate tech businesses to keep an eye on this year.
4) Marvel Fusion
The fusion energy business based in Munich, has raised €60 million in funding to help expedite the commercialization of fusion technology and overcome some of the challenges of creating clean energy at scale. It’s a startup that provides people with a simple, reasonable, and secure platform for long-term investing. It introduces a new banking model that takes advantage of European Open Banking Regulations. Users can begin investing immediately after connecting the platform to their existing bank account. It is a Berlin-based firm that started in 2020 with the goal of providing 10-minute supermarket deliveries. Since then, the company has grown to over 2000 workers and raised over €1.1 billion in funding. They’re on a quest to revolutionise grocery shopping by delivering at retail costs. The founders of the Gorillas believe that supermarket shopping should be much faster and more convenient. Customers can choose from a variety of products, including fresh fruits, dairy, vegan products, and iced drinks, using the app.
7) Pliant
It is a Berlin-based startup that provides a customizable corporate credit card solution with an emphasis on smooth integrations into existing procedures as well as entirely digital card management and cashback. The firm, which was founded in 2020, strives to provide consumers with the best solution possible by focusing on technology.
8) Arive
It is a firm that was created in 2021 with the objective of revolutionising shipping and improving the end-to-end buying process for goods outside of the grocery sector.
