‘It’s Been a Wild Ride’: Garcelle Beauvais Announces Exit from RHOBH
Garcelle Beauvais has officially announced her departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after five seasons. The 58-year-old actress shared the news on Tuesday, March 25, through a video posted on her Instagram.
“It’s been a wild ride,” Garcelle said. “Some amazing things happened, and some hard things too — but it’s been a journey.”
Garcelle explained that her main reason for leaving is to spend more time with her family, especially her sons, as they finish high school. She also mentioned new projects she is developing, producing, and acting in, which she will share soon.
“I want to be there for my boys and their important milestones. I’m also excited about my upcoming projects,” she added.
She thanked the entire Real Housewives team, including Andy Cohen, Bravo, NBC Universal, and the production teams. “Andy told me the door is always open, so you never know — I might pop back in,” she said.
Garcelle also thanked her fans for their support. “You’ve cheered me on, fought for me, and stood by me. It means a lot,” she said. “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later.”
Garcelle joined the show in Season 10 in 2020, becoming the first Black woman on RHOBH. Her journey from model and actress to reality TV star expanded her career. She now focuses on acting, producing films, and upcoming projects with Lifetime and Netflix.
