How Many Viewers Did Iranian Cinema Have Last Year?

But the year was not without its complications. Reforms like the elimination of half price days and increasing ticket prices later in 2023 caused box office sales to decline over the winter months with weekly box office revenue dropping from 50 billion tomans to 30 billion.
In spite of all the obstacles, the future of Iranian cinema is bright particularly for the upcoming screenings in 2024, which are likely to be viewed by even greater numbers of people and possibly set new records.
