UAE and France Strengthen Ties with AI Cooperation Agreement

At the Élysée Palace in Paris the Presidents of UAE and France strengthened their alliance through talks that focused on AI agreements on climate change initiatives and business deals. The meeting established progress for the enduring connection between UAE and France.

The leaders entertained discussions on all possible areas of bilateral cooperation especially economic investment and cultural projects. Sheikh Mohamed showed how the nations work together through their created Comprehensive Strategic Energy Partnership from 2022 and their joint climate investment structure toward sustainable objectives.

During the meeting both nations signed an agreement to develop future Artificial Intelligence collaborations called the UAE-France Framework for Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence. Under the agreement Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Executive Affairs Authority Chairman represented the UAE in the signing ceremony and Jean-Noël Barrot and Éric Lombard represented France. The project calls for French and UAE to develop a 1GW AI campus that needs resources for upgrading chip and data center tech as well as establishing Virtual Data Embassies.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan accompanied a delegation that UAE sent to visit Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber alongside other senior public servants. Their mutual delegation consisted of essential officers who showed how important this partnership means to both countries.

The heads of state together examined how their countries can help bring peace to the Middle East as well as global problems. During their visit President Macron hosted a meal for the UAE diplomats to show them support as the nations further built their strong connection while setting new ways to benefit from each other.
