New Jersey Introduces Early Voting for Presidential Election
Now residents of New Jersey can cast an early vote before the upcoming presidential election 2024 in US. The approval of early voting is from 2021. This option allows voters to avoid long lines and make their voices heard ahead of Election Day.
From October 26, 2024 ( Saturday) to November 3, 2024 (Sunday) you can come out from the house for early voting.
What are the Voting Hours?
Monday to Saturday | 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. |
Sunday | 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
Residents can vote early in person at designated voting locations using voting machines. No appointments are necessary.
Last year, over 545,000 votes were cast before the polls opened. This included 124,197 from early in-person voting and 421,573 from vote-by-mail ballots, according to the state’s Division of Elections.
As of now, New Jersey has 6,659,963 registered voters, which is about 71% of the state’s population. Residents have until October 15 to register for the general election on November 5.
