New Era in UAE-Croatia Relations as Leaders Sign MoU for Political Collaboration
Today UAE and Croatia begin a new era of bilateral relationship. Both countries signed an MOU to promote political discussions between their foreign ministries. To start this new diplomatic relationship HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE met with Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković, in Zagreb.
During the meeting, the focus was on enhancing the bilateral relations in various sectors like economic investments, renewable energy, and climate action. Both sides are committed to working towards the mutual goals that will enhance comprehensive development and economic prosperity.
After the meeting, an announcement came from OM Plenković. In which they revealed the intention of Croatia to open an embassy in the UAE further deepening their diplomatic engagement.
And HH Sheikh Abdullah signed a second MoU with Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Davor Božinović, focusing on the mutual recognition and exchange of driving licenses, showcasing both nations’ efforts to promote practical cooperation.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from both sides signaling a shared vision for a long-term partnership between the UAE and Croatia. After this MOU we are hoping for growth in both countries. It also represents UAE’s vision of growing together and knowledge sharing.
