India A vs England Lions: Karun Nair hits Double Ton ahead of England Tour

On Saturday, Indian batsman Karun Nair playing for India A against England Lions registered a double century at Canterbury. Maintaining his first form in first class cricket, showcasing great skill set at the trial test run ahead of the England series. 

Karun Nair registered his fourth 200 score in a single inning, the highest 328 runs, recorded against Tamil Nadu in the 2015-16 season representing Karnataka. He also has stood the test of time in his two other outings where he apart from scoring double hundred, stood unbeaten.

After the Northampton innings in 2024 against Glamorgan in England, his first in the country. His India A record just got polished as his previous best record was in 2015 against South Africa scoring 114. 

Karun Nair is also the record holder after Virender Sehwag, to score a triple century in Test cricket for India. Nair scored 204 runs off of 281 deliveries on Saturday with the total team score mounting to 409/3 at the end of the game day.
