The Harry Potter franchise would never get old although it has been 20 years since JK Rowling’s stories started to be made into films. The series has grossed a whopping $8 billion in theatres worldwide.
Rowling, while enthusiastic about the movies, has said, “It is simply impossible to incorporate all of my storylines into a film that has to be kept under four hours long”.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001);
The plot goes as young Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) finds out he is a wizard on the day he turns eleven in the magical adventures of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s stone. The film was released in 2001. He finds out that he is well known in the world of wizards for defeating an evil wizard named Voldemort’s attack on him as a little child.
As the film progresses Harry meets Ron and Hermoine, and forms a trio with them at Hogwarts School of Magic and Wizardry. Together the trio work together to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles, they find the Sorcerer’s Stone.
Harry Potter and Chamber of Secrets (2002);
In this second film of the Harry Potter film series, teenage Harry goes for the second year at Hogwarts. The film is directed by Chris Colombus. The film‘s plot revolves around the Chamber of Secrets as the evil spirits living in it endangers the students.

The third Potter franchise brings the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as their 3rd movie. Released in 2004, the movie centres around Harry’s third year in Hogwarts. It is directed by Alfonso Cauron. The plot goes as Harry discovers more regarding Sirius Black, a dangerous prisoner and mysteries about his relationship with Potter’s childhood history.

The Harry Potter franchise brings in the 5th film in order to please their fans. In this movie the audience watches Harry in Hogwarts for the fifth year. He learns about the Order of the Phoenix, a secret organisation devoted to restricting the evil wizard Lord Voldemort, as he struggles with the tribulations going in him after the onset of puberty.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009);
Released in 2009, this movie’s narrative revolves around Harry as he makes his sixth academic year return at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft. Here the film shows chaos as Lord Voldemort starts creating issues for the wizards in the school.
Meanwhile Potter finds a book titled Property of the Half Blood Prince and he gets curious about the same. The book is about Lord Voldemort’s history and mysticism.
Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010);
The movie was released 14 years back in 2010. The plot goes as Harry along with his buddies Hermoine and Ron sets out to fight the evil forces of Lord Voldemort and starts a mission to locate and destroy the Horcruxes, which are the artefacts that hold fragments of Voldemort’s soul.
The film shows the trio’s bond of friendship and increasing hardship in the wizarding world.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011);
The climax is as exciting as the whole series. Potterheads showed excitement as it was released in 2011. The plot shows Harry’s trio being challenged as they try to wipe out all the Horcruxes and defeat Voldemort.
The movie is full of intense action, poignant exchanges and decisive conflict between good and evil forces. The jaw dropping animation and visual effects along with surrounded musical sounds gives the perfect ending to the series.
