The World Governments Summit 2025 launches its event series in Dubai starting February 11-13 for government leaders to coordinate global policy and international support. More than 30 national leaders along with over 400 ministers and multiple industry executives will attend the summit together in a first-ever global event. The large number of international members ensures the World Governments Summit 2025 will become essential by helping nations address urgent global problems and design future governance. The UAE was chosen as BRICS home base which makes this year’s main event stand out for all participants and attendees.
The summit welcomes President Subianto of Indonesia and President Duda of Poland alongside President Dissanayake of Sri Lanka and President Petro Urrego of Colombia. Lions from Europe to Asia will join Prime Ministers of Kuwait, Armenia, Uganda, Pakistan, Kenya, Libya, and Bangladesh to make the summit universally important. World leaders attend the summit because it serves as the best possible platform to share ideas with other nations.
Under the six focus areas the conference addresses how governance works best and how society funds the future while battling climate crisis effects and predicts human needs for global health through AI impact. A main event will be the TIME 100 AI Gathering. This event brings together 100 top AI experts to study how artificial intelligence impacts governance systems. New possibilities in government innovation will emerge as technology connects with policy experts.
During the summit Dubai Municipality will show their urban sustainability efforts by presenting their new smart building model. This program matches Dubai’s goals of becoming a smart city and proving how sustainable planning works in practice. The model will lead the industry by creating superior value while protecting the environment in city construction.
Executive leaders from Google and IBM will participate as major private sector representatives during the summit events. The government and industry leaders together show how effective public-private partnerships tackle global problems today. The summit gives awards for top public officials worldwide including Best Minister in the World and Global Government Excellence.
