Diddy in Jail, Fights Back with $100M Lawsuit Over Documentary
Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs has filed a $100 million lawsuit against NBC, its streaming service Peacock, and production company Ample over a recent documentary about him. The documentary, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, aired while he faced multiple allegations of sexual assault.
Currently Diddy is in jail in New York. He is waiting for trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Though he has denied all accusations against him.

His lawsuit claims the documentary spreads false and damaging statements, portraying him as a “monster” and accusing him of serious crimes, including murder and sex trafficking. His legal team argues that the makers of the documentary knew the claims were false but aired them anyway.
Erica Wolff the lawyer of Diddy said NBC, Peacock, and Ample “chose to profit at the expense of truth and decency.” She accused them of spreading “outrageous lies” without evidence.
The lawsuit also states that the documentary falsely accuses Diddy of murdering his former partner, Kim Porter, and rapper Biggie Smalls (also known as The Notorious B.I.G.). The companies involved have not yet responded to these claims.
Meanwhile, more allegations continue to surface. Over the past 16 months, more than 30 civil lawsuits have been filed against Diddy by both men and women. He is accused of kidnapping, drugging, and coercing women into sexual acts, sometimes with threats of violence.
Diddy has strongly denied all claims. He said the truth will come in front of all in the court. This lawsuit is the latest chapter in a legal battle that shows no signs of ending soon.
