Bournemouth vs Tottenham Premier League Begins, To Clash 14th Time

The 2023/24 Premier League season has started. Manchester City is aiming to defend their title and win their fourth consecutive championship.

They will face tough competition from teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool.

Luton Town is also making their debut in the Premier League after a decade of progress, starting from non-league football.

In the match between AFC Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur, the score is currently 0-0. There have been some close chances, with Maddison taking a shot that was blocked by Aarons, leading to shouts for a handball.

Billing forced Sarr into an error, but Kelly’s pass was inaccurate, giving Spurs possession. Bournemouth is pressing high up the field, but Spurs are confident in passing the ball around them.

Son and Maddison had a good link-up play, but Kelly intercepted the ball. Spurs had a nervy start, losing possession to Semenyo, but Van de Ven cleared the danger. Christie started the game for Bournemouth.

Spurs have struggled in their away games recently, winning only one out of their last nine matches and conceding goals in all of them. However, they are unbeaten in their last five trips to the south coast. Spurs won their first game of the season against Manchester United.

Both teams have made some changes to their starting line-ups, with Maddison retaining his place despite leaving the previous game on crutches. Bournemouth’s Cook is available on the bench after recovering from a groin injury.

Bournemouth is still searching for their first victory under their new manager. They earned a point against West Ham in their first match but lost 3-1 to Liverpool in their last game. Bournemouth is not doing well this season.

Tottenham Hotspur, on the other hand, is in sixth place and played well against Manchester United. Tottenham has a good record against Bournemouth, winning eight out of the 13 matches they have played.

Bournemouth has only won three times. In their last meeting, Bournemouth won 3-2. Tottenham has only won one out of their last nine away matches and has conceded goals in all of those games.
