Beyonce and Taylor Swift No-Shows; Fans Left Disappointed as DNC’s ‘Special Guest’ Rumors Prove Baseless

Ahead of the final night of the Democratic National Convention anticipation reached a fever pitch online as rumors spread about a possible “special guest” appearance at this event. However, all fans were disappointed when no unexpected star emerged at the event. All the rumors fall short.

There was a lot of buzz on social media about this final night at the DNC, especially about the possibility of Beyoncé’s surprise performance ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris‘ primetime speech. The excitement was further fueled by a headline from celebrity news outlet TMZ which boldly teased the superstar’s possible appearance.

Taylor Swift was another name that gained traction in these rumors with celebrity watchers tracking the movement of private jets often associated with the pop icon. The buzz even drew a response from former Republican presidential nominee and current U.S. Senator Mitt Romney, who humorously dispelled rumors that he might be the surprise guest. “Contrary to fake news posts, I am not the surprise guest at the DNC tonight. I guess that it will be Beyoncé or Taylor Swift,” Romney posted on X, adding, “So disappointing, I know!”

In a twist, even former President George W. Bush’s name was floated as a possible guest, with the “Republicans against Trump” group sharing a nostalgic photo of Bush embracing former First Lady Michelle Obama to their X account’s 765,000 followers.
