UAE and Kuwait Unite for Gulf Stability and Development in High-Level Talks

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was on a state visit to Kuwait. He met with the Emir of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to discuss strengthening UAE-Kuwait relations. According to the official news agency Zawya, the leaders met at Bayan Palace where they emphasized their commitment to closer cooperation in various sectors especially in economy, trade, and investment. An official release by WAM also confirmed the news.
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also shared a update about it. He wrote a caption on it “I was pleased to meet with my brother Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, to discuss the deep-rooted and historical ties of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and Kuwait. Together, we will continue to work to achieve lasting growth, development, and prosperity in service of our nations while advancing peace for the benefit of the region’s peoples”
These two Gulf leaders shared a vision for a united and bright future together. During their talk, they highlighted the importance of working together to address challenges in the region. Both the leaders agreed to support the Gulf Cooperation Council efforts to strengthen stability and collaboration for a better future in the gulf.

Their discussions also touched on key regional issues, including the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza and recent developments in Lebanon. Both leaders emphasized the urgent need for international efforts to protect civilians and called for immediate action to prevent further conflict in the Middle East.
In addition His Highness Sheikh Mohamed emphasized that economic cooperation is key to the growth of Gulf nations and noted Kuwait’s significant role as a partner in fostering development within the region.
According to Zawya, “His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah hosted a luncheon in honour of His Highness the President of the UAE and the accompanying delegation. The luncheon and discussions were attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chariman of the Presidential Court; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region; H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court; and a number of ministers and senior officials accompanying His Highness the President.
From the Kuwaiti side, the talks and luncheon were attended by His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Sabah, Crown Prince, along with several Sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials.”
Following the successful visit the UAE President and his delegation were bid farewell by senior Kuwaiti officials at Amiri Airport.
