UAE and Bulgaria Celebrate 33 Years of Diplomatic Relations

The UAE Embassy in Sofia in partnership with Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bulgaria hosted an event to mark 33 years of diplomatic ties between the United Arab Emirates and Bulgaria.
The event took place at the headquarters of ministry and was attended by Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov of Bulgaria and UAE Ambassador to Bulgaria Abdulrahman Ahmed Al Jaber. Both leaders talked about the strong and growing relationship between the two countries.

UAE- Bulgaria Relations over the years:
According to the official release of MOFA, “Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the United Arab Emirates were established in 1991. In 2001 a Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria was opened in Dubai.” Former Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov visited to UAE in 2003. The mutual relations between Bulgaria and the United Arab Emirates have developed over the years.
