This beautiful route comprising 616 kilometres (362 miles) overlooks the mountain ranges of Maribor all over to Ankaran, on the Adriatic coast. It usually takes around a month (28 days) to do the full trek and hiking but can be broken down to do comfortably and savour the beautiful landscape. It is a paradise for mountaineering lovers and landscape photographers. Those opting to do the full trek have to do with 23 mountains in order to complete it. There are also 49 different routes to choose from if someone wants to do the hiking partially and not cover the whole trail.
