The fire started at one in the morning on Friday at the Mountain B nightspot in the Sattahip district of Chonburi province, which is around 150 kilometers southeast of Bangkok.

According to the rescue agency, the majority of the victims’ bodies were found crammed by the club’s entrance and in the restroom on Saturday, with severe burns covering the majority of their bodies. This brought the total number of fatalities to 15.

According to the officer, the 27-year-old will be facing multiple charges, including one for operating a bar without a license and causing the death of another person by dangerous behavior.

It is possible to receive a term of up to ten years in prison and a fine of up to 200,000 baht (about $5,000) for causing the death of another person via carelessness.

According to the rescue service, it took firefighters more than three hours to bring the blaze under control. The flammable acoustic foam that was on the walls of the club hastened the fire’s spread.

In the wake of the fire, the families of those who perished in it traveled to Bangkok so that forensic investigators could examine the bodies of their loved ones and then return them to them. The majority of the fatalities were between the ages of 17 and 49.

An investigation into the cause of the fire has been ordered by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha.
