Sundar Pichai, an Indian- American business tycoon is the CEO of Alphabet and its subsidiary Google has now earned the Billionaire status after the company has gained $1 Trillion in market value since 2023, providing 120% return.
Bloomberg billionaire index reported that Sundar Pichai’s worth has boomed to $1.1 Billion after the company’s shares went for an all time high. Having served as the Chief Executive Officer of Google for a decade, the longest tenure by any CEO in the company’s history. He has also achieved this fleet unlike Mark Zuckerberg or Jensen Huang who have the fortune by having founding equity shares.
Posting about the company’s earnings, Sundar’s X Post read, “Just got off the earnings call – great quarter, and it was our (and my) 40th call as Alphabet. August will mark 10 years since we announced Alphabet. Been thinking about the incredible growth in our new businesses since then – Cloud, YouTube, Play, Subscriptions etc. To give a sense of progress, in 2015 all of Alphabet’s revenue added up to $75B. YouTube and Cloud alone ended 2024 at an annual run rate of $110B”.
