spacex to launch 24 starlink satellites today falcon 9 mission set for 402 p.m. et
Today, November 11, SpaceX is set to launch 24 Starlink satellites from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The mission got delayed due to weather conditions, is scheduled to launch at 4:02 pm EST, and remains open for four hours and closes at 7:44 pm.
The Falcon 9 rocket will boost the satellites to low Earth orbit, where the deployment is expected to occur about 65 minutes after liftoff. It will then attempt a landing on the droneship “A Shortfall of Gravitas” during the first-stage separation over the Atlantic at that time.
Launch broadcast will be followed by live coverage from the X by SpaceX, roughly five minutes before launch. The mission would therefore become a satellite constellation conceptualized by SpaceX with the aim of providing internet- thus justifying efforts by the company in ensuring the accessibility of internet in the world but rather continues its reusable rocket program also.
