
New York Battles Wildfires in the Hamptons, Highway Closed
On Saturday Wildfires broke out in the afternoon in the Hamptons. Officials said that this wildfire was fueled by strong winds and dry conditions.
Four fires spread across a 3-mile by 1-mile area near Westhampton, closing part of Sunrise Highway and a nearby service road, according to Suffolk County officials.
The reason for this time of wildfire is still unknown, the investigation is going on!
