Both the directors came up with a creative idea to trace back the journey of production of a pedometer, starting from its sale in Stockholm all the way back to its manufacturing origin in Shenzhen, China. This journey took them through Gothenburg, Insjön, Rotterdam, Bremen, Malaga, and Algeciras. Funding for this movie was provided by Kulturbryggan and the Innovativ Kultur Foundation. This movie was filmed in real time during a trip to and in locations at a factory, following the journey of the product’s manufacture from a store in Stockholm, where the product was purchased, to the factory in China, where it was manufactured.
