Isaac Hayes’ Family Upset with Trump for Using Song Without Permission
Isaac Hayes is one of the famous musicians who has written a lot of wonderful songs. One of his favorite songs is entitled “Hold On (I’m Coming)”. Donald Trump, ex-president of the United States, had used this song during his political rallies for two years. The problem now is the fact that Trump didn’t ask permission to use this particular song and the Hayes family is more than annoyed.
The Family’s Efforts to Take the Song Away from Trump
Isaac Hayes’ son, Isaac Hayes III, on several occasions, tried to convince Trump to stop using the song. He and his family asked Trump and his people not to play it anymore. But Trump continues spooning the song nonetheless. The Hayes family does not want people to draw a conclusion thinking Isaac and his family support Trump and so are very aggrieved by the developments.
Because Trump won’t stop playing the song, the Hayes family has decided to sue him. They say he used the song without permission 134 times at his rallies from 2022 to 2024. They want Trump to pay them $3 million for using the song without asking.
