Elon Musk And Ron DeSantis Turn Attention To 2024 White House Race
This week, Ron DeSantis, the 46th governor of Florida, took to Twitter Spaces to announce his presidential run in the 2024 election. Around 500,000 people had connected to Twitter Spaces. However, the app crashed and the Twitter Space had to be restarted. After some time, as many as 600,000 people wanted to join the Space. However, only 161,000 people were able to hear the live audio chat.
Tech billionaire Elon Musk, who purchased Twitter in October last year, was left furious when the app crashed. According to Platformer, Musk’s own app — an employee-only version app called Earlybird — crashed multiple times during the Twitter Space.
With this, Elon Musk and Ron DeSantis turned the public’s attention to the 2024 White House race. Ron DeSantis wants to launch his presidential bid in the 2024 election.
