2024 Population Trends: A Global Increase of 71 Million People
According to estimatation by the U.S. Census Bureau the population of the world will hit 8.09 billion on New Year Day 2025. This data is showing that 71 million people increased than the population of 2024.
Slower Growth in 2024
The data by U.S. Census Bureau showed that in 2024 the global population increased by 0.9% which was lower than the 75 million increase seen in 2023. On average in January 2022, there will be 4.2 births and 2.0 deaths every second worldwide. This is highlighting the slowing growth trend globally.
