UAE Golden Visa: More than 30,000 frontline heroes receive long-term residency

More than 30,000 frontline heroes in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have been awarded golden visas by the Frontline Heroes Office in recognition of their efforts in protecting the public.

Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Frontline Heroes Office, announced golden visas for frontline heroes in order to help support their social stability in the country. Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan lauded the efforts of the frontline heroes in protecting the public during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Sheikh Sultan has said that the Frontline Heroes Office will continue to support frontline heroes. He further said that the office would work with the authorities to grant visas to professionals who put efforts to provide care to patients during the Covid-19 pandemic. Those recipients have been nominated for the 10-year residency visa by their respective health authorities.

Under the directives of the UAE leadership, the Frontline Heroes Office works with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security to issue golden visas to eligible Frontline Heroes.

Many Frontline Heroes have expressed their gratitude to the UAE leadership. They thanked the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for supporting them. They appreciated him for providing them with the Golden Visa.

Dr Jamal Aldeen AlKoteesh, Head of Radiology and Consultant of Interventional Radiology at Tawam Hospital, thanked the UAE leadership for the golden visas. Dr Hala Abuzaid Ahmed Abuzaid, Director of the Medical Department, Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Departments at Tawam Hospital, said that the UAE authorities provided her with all the support while she was helping the people of the UAE through the Covid-19 pandemic. Dr Ammar Al-Shibli, Director of the Medical Department, Consultant Pediatrician at Tawam Hospital, also thanked the UAE President for the golden visa. Muhammad Ali, a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, lauded the efforts of the Frontline Heroes Office in helping the frontline workers.
