The first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris is officially set. After much anticipation, ABC News has announced that the debate will take place on Tuesday, September 10, in Philadelphia at the National Constitution Center.
The HarrisWalz campaign confirmed that Trump’s team agreed to three debates—two presidential and one vice presidential. If Trump attends the September 10 debate, Governor Walz will face JD Vance on October 1. Another debate between Harris and Trump is planned for October.
Trump’s team also suggested debate dates of September 4 and 25, with further details to be arranged.
JD Vance and Tim Walz have agreed to a vice-presidential debate on October 1 by CBS News. Vance is also open to a CNN debate on September 18, but Walz has not confirmed his participation.
