The UAE ranks second globally for ex-pats to live and the ease in visa issuance

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been ranked second globally for ex-pats to live and the ease in visa issuance. Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, have claimed the two spots of second and ninth place, respectively, in the Expat Essentials Index 2022.

Dubai secured the second position in the top 10 cities for ex-pats to live in. Abu Dhabi is the ninth-best city for expatriates to live and work.

The ranking is based on InterNations’ annual Expat Insider survey, wherein 11,970 ex-pats participated to rate the quality of life in different cities. The survey conducted in-depth information about five areas of ex-pat life to give the final ranking. The survey analysed the Quality of Life, Ease of Settling In, Working Abroad, Personal Finance, and the new Expat Essentials of 50 cities across the world to give the final rating.

According to Expat City Ranking 2022, Dubai and Abu Dhabi also rank in the top 10 for Quality of Life. The two cities did well in the Ease of Settling Index. People are satisfied with their jobs and their compensation in Dubai. According to ex-pats, Dubai offers a great quality of life to people. Expats are reportedly happy with their social life in Dubai.

Dubai secured the first position in the Admin Topics Subcategory. Reportedly, almost two in three ex-pats have claimed that they can easily deal with the local authorities in the city. People are reportedly happy with the availability of government services online.
