The World Renowned Berlin Film Festival set its 2026 Date after completing a successful 75 years of honoring and showcasing profound and complete stories around the world. The popular festival will be held from 12 February to 22 February 2026, confirming their dates.
The 2026 edition marks the 76th year of the Berlinale with Tricia Tuttle as the festival’s director and curator, after successfully inaugurating since 2024. “After the great success of this year’s anniversary edition, we are now starting to plan for 2026. We look forward to once again celebrating cinema with the film industry and audiences and to being a page.
The Berlinale is one of Europe’s ‘Big Three’ Film Festivals right along with the upcoming Cannes and The Venice Film Festivals. Set around Potsdamer Platz, the Berlin Film Festival screens more than 400 films at multiple venues. Giving out two prestigious main awards – The Golden Bear and the Silver Bears, the festival also includes other Berlinale awards depending on the category and submissions.

The European Film Market, a parallel film trade fair has also announced its dates from 11 February to 18 February and The Berlinale Co- Production Market to be held from 14 February to 17 February 2026. The Berlinale Talents are expected from 13 February to 18 February while the World Cinema Fund will be held on 17 February 2025.
