Kendrick Lamar leads with 10 Nominations in the American Music Awards – Read More for Full Nominations

The ‘Not Like Us’ singer Kendrick Lamar leads the bunch in the American Music Awards nominations and is up for grabbing 10 awards. The awards season is high and flying as post the Grammys, American Music Awards has revealed their nominees. Lamar is nominated the most this season with 10 nominations under his name including Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Artist of the Year categories. 

Following close is singer Post Malone is nominated for 8 awards and Billie Eilish, Chappell Raon and Shaboozy nominated for 7 categories. The season also has a plethora of first timers nominated in the main categories including ‘Beautiful Things’ star Benson Boone, ‘Anxiety’ singer Doechii, Gracie Abrams, Lola Young, Teddy Swims, ROSÉ, Sabrina Carpenter, Tyla, Jelly Roll, The Marias, Tommy Richman and Zach Bryan are the first time nominees. 

For the first time ever, Post Malone and Beyonce are nominated in Country Music categories. Taylor Swift is nominated for six categories giving her the upper hand in breaking her own record as the most AMA wins ever. All the drama and final winners makes the American Music Awards full of surprises. 

The AMAs are set to happen on 26 May, 2025 with popular actor and singer Jennifer Lopez taking on hosting duties.
