After the COVID-19 & Russia-Ukraine war, a lot of changes have been seen in the list. Here is the updated list of 10 world’s most powerful passports in 2022 after the pandemic & Ukraine conflict.

1) Japan & Singapore

Japan and Singapore are at the top of the list. These countries’ passport holders are eligible for visa-free travel to 192 countries.

2) Germany & South Korea

Passport holders from Germany and South Korea, who have reclaimed second place, can visit 190 countries without obtaining a visa.

3) Finland, Italy, Luxembourg & Spain

Finland, Italy, Luxembourg and Spain are tied for third place on the list. Citizens of these nations are eligible to travel to 189 countries without a visa.

4) Austria, Denmark, France & Netherlands

France and the Netherlands move up one spot to number four, joining Austria and Denmark in having visa-free access to 188 countries.

5) Ireland & Portugal

Traveling to 187 countries is possible without a visa for the citizens of Ireland and Portugal.

6) Belgium, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom & United States

In the list, these six countries take the sixth position. Citizens of Belgium, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, UK & US are eligible for visa-free travel to 186 countries.

7) Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Greece & Malta

Australia and Canada move up one spot to join the countries in seventh place. These five countries’ citizens are eligible to visit 185 countries without needing a visa.

8) Hungary & Poland

Hungary moves up two ranks, while Poland moves up ranks to seventh place. Without a visa, citizens of these two countries can travel to 184 countries.

Lithuanian and Slovakian citizens are permitted visa-free travel to 182 countries.

10. Estonia, Latvia and Slovenia

Estonia, Latvia, and Slovakia all shared tenth place on the list of the world’s most powerful passport countries. These countries’ passport holders are eligible for visa-free travel to 181 nations.
