What you should know about Nafis Award
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Minister of the Presidential Court, the Nafis Award has been launched to support private sector companies and employees.
The new cycle of the Nafis Award aims to honour employees who have achieved outstanding performance results. The Award has been launched to increase the rate of participation of Emiratis within the workforce. The winners of the Nafis award will receive a high-level honour from the UAE leaders.
The NAFIS programme was launched by the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council in order to increase the competitiveness in the Emirati workforce and provide training to private sector employees.
What is the last date to register for the Nafis Award?
The nomination deadline for the Nafis Award is scheduled to close on January 31, 2023. A UAE citizen who has been working in the private sector for 6 months is eligible to register for this award.

What are the main categories of the Nafis Award?
The three main categories of the Nafis Award are the Best Company in Achieving Emiratisation Targets, Best Emirati Talent in the private sector and Strategic Partners Appreciation.
Large-sized Companies with 1000 employees, Medium-sized Companies with up to 999 employees and Small sized Companies with 499 employees are eligible for the Best Company in Achieving Emiratisation Targets award.
Nursing jobs, Medical Jobs, Finance Jobs, Lawyers Jobs, Retail Jobs, Programming Jobs, Supervisory, Leadership Jobs, Administrative Jobs, Professional Jobs and Trainees are eligible for the Best Emirati Talent in the private sector award.
Federal Government Partners, Local Government Partners, Health Sector partners, Education Sector Partners and Financial Sector partners are eligible for the Strategic Partners Appreciation award.
