Breaking News: Trump to Use Abraham Lincoln’s Bible for Swearing-In Ceremony
The inauguration committee has confirmed Donald Trump will take the oath of office today as the 47th President of the United States. He will use the same Bible once held by Abraham Lincoln during his swearing-in in 1861.
This marks the second time Trump will use the historic Bible having also used it during his first inauguration in 2017. Along with Lincoln’s Bible Trump will also use a personal Bible during the ceremony.

Notably former President Barack Obama also chose to use the Lincoln Bible during both of his inaugurations.
Vice President-elect JD Vance will also take his oath. He will use a family Bible, which is passed down through generations, dating back to his great-grandmother.
