Rihanna Wants Her New Album To Drop This Year
It has been revealed that Rihanna is expecting to release new music this year after recently revealing her second pregnancy. In an interview with British Vogue, the Barbados-born artist told Deadline, a USA-based entertainment news outlet, “I want it to be this year… Like honestly, it’d be ridiculous if it wasn’t this year. But I just want to have fun.”
According to her, “I just want to make music and videos. And I need the right background music with the visuals. I can’t just shoot a video with me talking.”
In 2016, Rihanna released ‘Anti’, her most recent album, which she described as “my most brilliant album.”
In addition, she said she had put a lot of pressure on herself to create something as good as her last work. “So I realized that if I keep waiting until this feels perfect and right and better, maybe it’s going to keep taking forever, and maybe it’ll never come out. Therefore, I am going to play. “And by play, I mean I have ideas in my head, but I can’t say them out loud yet,” Rihanna told Deadline.
