Easter Plans? Here’s Your Weekend Weather Guide

If you’re planning Easter egg hunts or family gatherings this weekend, you’ll want to keep an umbrella close — but the good news is, it won’t be a total washout.

Showers and storms are moving into the Tri-State area from the west and are expected to arrive around midday on Saturday. The latest weather models show the best chance for rain and thunderstorms between 12 PM and 2 PM. While the rain may cause some delays for outdoor activities, dry periods are expected before and after that window.

Temperatures on Saturday will be mild, with a high near 76°F. Overnight, scattered showers may linger as temperatures dip to the mid-50s.

Easter Sunday is shaping up to be the better day of the weekend. While skies will be mostly cloudy, only spotty showers are expected throughout the day. Most areas will stay dry, and temperatures will remain comfortable in the upper 70s.

Looking ahead, more rain is likely on Monday, but sunshine returns to the forecast by Tuesday, bringing drier and brighter conditions.
