Updated 2024-25 College Football Playoff Bracket: Rankings and Game Highlights
The 2024-25 College Football Playoff is set featuring the official 12-team lineup and final top 25 rankings announced on Dec. 8. The semifinals kick off on yesterday, with Penn State taking on Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl.

The CFP uses the committee’s final top 25 rankings, but the playoff seeds are determined differently. The four highest-ranked conference champions receive the top four seeds and a bye. The fifth-highest-ranked champion automatically qualifies but does not get a bye.
