Astronomer CEO to sue Coldplay; Hires Gwyneth Paltrow as Spokesperson

Astronomer CEO Andy Byron who got caught cheating on his wife with his HR Colleague Kristin Cabot in a Coldplay concert might now consider suing the band. This notion is considered unsuccessful by the legal experts.

The Viral ‘Kiss Cam’ moment that outed the cheating CEO has quickly headlined and became a meme content on social media. Andy Byron, the CEO of Astronomer is now aiming to sue the world famous music band and the lead singer Chris Martin for his comments during the famous clip.

Chris Martin during the Kiss cam moment that captured the CEO and his HR in an intimate pose, calling out, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”. “If we are getting creative, a possible claim would be for defamation, specifically as it relates to Chris Martin characterising the two as having an ‘affair,’” attorney Camron Dowlatshahi from MSD Lawyers, told Page Six.

The lawsuit could be based on the ‘defamation’ as legally, it can be a written or verbal statement that hampers or degrades an individual or an organisation. But in order for Byron’s lawsuit to sustain, both Andy and Kristin have to prove that there is no ‘Affair’ between them. This could be tricky as neither of them have publicly denied their affair.

Now Astronomer has hired Gwyneth Paltrow, the Ex-wife of Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay as their spokesperson. A video posted in the official Astronomer account had Paltrow answering internet questions about the company’s sudden fame after its top management members got caught cheating.

After both Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot resigned from their position, now actress Gwyneth Paltrow is seen in a corporate setting answering questions about the company. The video begins with Paltrow saying, “Thank you for your interest in Astronomer. Hi, I’m Gwyneth Paltrow. I’ve been hired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300 plus employees at Astronomer.”
