Sleeping is an important factor for humans. According to studies, a normal human being requires a daily sleep quota of 8 hours. But the same theory is not the same for some creatures on the wild planet. While some furry friends like cats and dogs do like to sleep for 10 to 12 hours at a stretch, some animals and fishes like the Dolphin and Bluefin Tuna remain awake most of the time.

Dolphins;
Baby Dolphins do not take a nap for about a month after being born. The reason is they need to resurface above the water every few seconds during that time.
Fruit Flies;
Next is from the fly family, fruit flies according to bio researchers, sleep less than a minute for a whole day.
Jellyfish;
The jellyfish is an exotic animal that features on our list. It does take its own sweet time to make itself fresh and recharged but that is far less than that of humans.
Great Frigatebirds;
According to researchers, great frigatebirds sleep with half of their brain activated. This is unusual to hear but is true.
Tilapia;
Another fish in our timeline, the Tilapia does not sleep during the time it gives birth. It stays awake till the eggs are being released and are safe.
Orca;
Baby Orca similar to dolphins do not sleep for months after their birth. But the reason for not going beneath the water for long periods of time is the fact that it wants to keep its body warm.
Giraffes;
Known for being silent and tall, Giraffes remain awake for a whole day and night included. Only a period of 5 minutes of nap is enough for a giraffe to remain recharged.
Blue Fish;
These fishes are known for not sleeping during migration.
Alpine Swift;
These birds are known for not sleeping for days while they fly continuously at a stretch. They are found in Asia, Africa, and Southern Europe.
Bullfrogs;
Native to North America, these creatures do not go into much deep sleep. It mainly feeds on insects, rodents, small fish, birds, and even other small frogs.
