US Presidential Election 2024: Republicans Want Joe Biden Impeachment Inquiry

Joe Biden may join the list of US presidents, which includes Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump, impeached by the Congress. To date, no US president has been removed from office through impeachment.

Republicans have threatened President Joe Biden with impeachment ever since son Hunter Biden’s misdoings surfaced and brushed under the carpet by the Democrats and mainstream American media. Calls are getting louder and clearer, with US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy telling committees to launch a formal investigation. He called an end to the culture of corruption around the Biden family.

Former US President Donald Trump, who has been impeached twice, has also been pushing for Biden’s impeachment for some time now. McCarthy’s impeachment call holds more weight since he is the House Speaker.  The inquiry will feature an investigation into the FBI and IRS in relation to its probe into Hunter Biden and his foreign business dealings, and actions taken by the Justice Department.

Tables Turn on the Democrats

Sources say Biden could assert executive privilege to slow down the GOP investigators, like Trump had done. Jesse Watters, an American commentator, believes things can become very ugly for the Democrats. He tweeted that the Biden impeachment is bound to happen, highlighting that the US president flew his son, Hunter, to China and he came back with a bucket of cash.

“Then Hunter told them to pay up or else and THEN Joe wrote the Chinese exec’s daughter recommendations to get into Brown. Hunter got a massive diamond that he lost and Joe went soft on the country that gave it to him. Putin’s billionaire dollar buddy wired the Biden family $3.5 million, then they had dinner with Joe, and she’s off the sanctions list, TWICE. They greased the regulatory process so the Chinese could buy an American car company.”

There’s a Mountain of Evidence

Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene says the impeachment inquiry isn’t just about President Joe Biden. “It’s about exposing every single person that helped cover up his crimes – for as long as it takes to reveal the truth.”

Scott Perry, a Republican and retired US Army National Guard Brigadier General, ripped into Biden supporters saying there’s a mountain of evidence. “We have bank accounts. You can see that the homes that the Bidens own cannot be afforded on a Congressional or Senate salary. You also understand that it’s not normal for family members to receive millions of dollars from overseas interest. Those things aren’t normal.

The White House has become a circus ground.
