UAE President Meets Former US Presidents Trump and Bush, Strengthening Ties

During his recent official visit to the United States, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been photographed with former US Presidents, Donald Trump and George Bush. These meetings pointed to the good relations that have developed between the UAE and the US over the past fifty years.

Sheikh Mohamed met with Donald Trump on September 26th 2024 in Florida. They also discussed how the two countries have come together with the vision, mission and values of development and success. For all the efforts that he has put into place with a view of strengthening credit relations between the UAE and the US, the emperor was happy to extend his gratitude to Trump.

One day before the latter, on September 25th, Sheikh Mohamed met with George W. Bush in Dallas. They recalled the significant visit of President Bush to the UAE in 2008 as well as the fact that the relations between the two countries only became stronger. This is according to them based on the understanding that both countries hail from the same area of vision and mission to seek progress and stability.

Bush has done a great work in enhancing the relations between UAE and US when he was still the President, this was said by Sheikh Mohamed. He also talked about the strong point that the initial friendship between the two countries was initiated by George H.W. Bush. Sheikh Mohamed described the elder Bush as a friend of the UAE and a friend of the region in a time of crisis.

The UAE President pointed out that cooperation in security, stability, and peace in the region and the world has been among the ways the UAE and the US have collaborated in the past. He said he expects this to persist in the future and he pointed to the role of teamwork.

UAE President’s First Official US Visit as Head of State

Both former presidents of the United States of America were more than willing to be in a meeting with Sheikh Mohamed. They discussed significant events in the history of relations between their countries during the years.

They proved that in any government, the UAE will persist in fostering good relations with the USA. It proves that the UAE is willing to develop relations with any sort of politicians of the political spectrum of the USA, including the Republican former presidents.

The meetings also incorporated the main representatives of the UAE authorities including Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, the head of the Executive Affairs Authority and Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE ambassador to the USA.
