After a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House. US President Donald Trump said that the United States will “take over” the Gaza Strip

Trump said the US will rebuild Gaza. The US would clear the area of unexploded bombs, and remove destroyed buildings. He talked about the plan to create jobs, housing, and economic growth for the region.

His additional remark raised controversy. He added Palestinians should move to other countries like Egypt and Jordan.

Speaking at a press conference, Trump said: “The US will take over the Gaza Strip and do a job with it. We’ll own it.”
