At the family home, a pistol was discovered close to the body of Rosie Roche, though the police have not been shy of stating what they had discovered. According to Coroner Grant Davies, police have addressed the death as non-suspicious, and third-party involvement did not exist.

The death has been investigated by a Wiltshire and Swindon coroner. Yet, the investigation has been put on hold until October 25 so that the family has the time to mourn in privacy.
