River Hongbao 2026 is celebrating the 40th anniversary from the 15th of February to the 24th at Gardens by the Bay to kick off the year of the horse with massive lanterns, fireworks, and cultural festivities across Supertree Grove and The Meadow. Free entry attracts families to God of Fortune displays, Wishing Heart coin tosses (proceeds support Diabetes Singapore), plus the 40th Anniversary Exhibition to trace back to the days of the Singapore River. Highlights: Fireworks show on 15th February: 8 pm, 16th February: midnight, 17-18; Nightly shows by Charlie Lim, Jocie Guo, thematic getai, movie nights. There are festive bites in food markets, thrilling rides such as Flying Dumbo for the kids. Open 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm in the early days, 2:30 pm later.
