Season 4 winners Sophie and Dave ended the show as the villa’s most compatible couple after fellow contestants voted them the strongest match in the finale. In December 2025, Netflix confirmed the pair were still dating and even shared footage from their romantic Maldives getaway, where the couple playfully described themselves as “little water babies.”

Since then, however, updates have slowed considerably. Fans have continued speculating about their relationship status, especially because Sophie is based in the UK while Dave lives in Australia. However, neither party has made an official statement declaring their split.

As of May 2026, their relationship remains uncertain,  not officially over, but no longer openly active online either.

Chris Dahlan and Natalie Cruz Became the Season’s Biggest Surprise

No relationship shocked fans more than Chris Dahlan and Natalie Cruz. The twist? The two never matched during the entire season. Still, during the show’s post-credits surprise reveal, Chris and Natalie confirmed they had quietly started dating by December 2025.

“We’re doing great. Everyone who knows us knows how much we care about each other,” Natalie shared at the time. Their romance quickly became one of the season’s biggest talking points because it reportedly began while Natalie was still involved with Yamen Sanders and Chris was navigating his complicated connection with Kayla Richart. By March 2026, most of the cast allegedly knew about the relationship before the pair publicly acknowledged it themselves. According to fellow cast members Alison and Kayla, Chris and Natalie are still together today.

Alison Ogden and Jimmy Sotos Are Taking Things Slowly

Alison Ogden and Jimmy Sotos formed one of the strongest early connections of the season after Jimmy entered the villa in Episode 2. Unlike many contestants, Jimmy appeared completely focused on Alison from the start and showed little interest in exploring other matches during mixers. But after filming ended, real life complicated things. The pair later admitted they were still “exploring” their connection while intentionally avoiding labels. Alison also revealed they briefly stopped communicating around Thanksgiving because Jimmy struggled adjusting to normal life after the show. “We fell hard pretty fast on the show and want to move forward at our pace now,” Alison told Tudum. Despite the pause, the two were recently seen together again at Netflix events in May 2026, including the Netflix Is a Joke Festival, suggesting the relationship may still have potential.

Marissa George and DeMari Davis Break Up After the Show

While Marissa George and DeMari Davis remained together for much of Season 4, problems and disagreements were often observed within their relationship by viewers. After filming wrapped, the couple eventually decided to part ways. Then came an even bigger surprise.

In March 2026, Marissa married someone outside the Perfect Match cast entirely,  Dre Johnson, a man she reportedly dated 13 years ago before reconnecting after the show. The newly married couple is now reportedly planning a move to Japan together. Meanwhile, DeMari publicly congratulated Marissa online and later revealed he’s now dating more intentionally with marriage in mind.

Ally Lewber and Jimmy Presnell Couldn’t Make It Last

Ally Lewber initially shared strong chemistry with Jimmy Presnell before later rematching with Hashim Moore during the season. Although Ally and Jimmy briefly reunited after filming ended, the relationship ultimately didn’t survive outside the show.

Speaking later on the Scheananigans podcast, Ally admitted the two shared meaningful moments but were unable to maintain the connection long-term.

Natalie and Yamen Sanders Eventually Went Their Separate Ways

Natalie and Yamen Sanders attempted to turn their friendship into a relationship during the season, but the romance reportedly faded fairly quickly once filming ended. Kayla Richart and Chris Dahlan Didn’t Reconnect After Filming

Kayla Richart entered the villa late in the season and immediately pursued Chris despite his existing partnership with Mackenzie Bellows. Although Chris promised they would reconnect after the show following their elimination, the relationship never fully developed afterward.

Kayla later spent time with Weston Richy, while Chris ultimately started dating Natalie instead.
