NYT Connections Hint: April 18 Puzzle

The NY Times Connections puzzle from today brings together words that include both astonishment and horror movie terms. The weekend begins now so we will analyze the answers and clues for Friday, April 18th’s puzzle.

How to Play NYT Connections

Players have to categorize 16 given words into four groups made up of four words each. The game distributes random words into subtype groups based on chosen topics which appear in distinct color schemes.

  • Yellow (easiest)
  • Green and Blue (medium difficulty)
  • Purple (hardest section works with word meanings or doubles as words).

Players must find all groups within their four attempts to win the game. The gameplay renews at midnight every day.
