“The Orchid Show” Returns to New York Botanical Garden with “City of Green” Theme

In February 2026, the Orchid Show is hosted in the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) in the Bronx, and by the title of the so-called City of Green, the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory is turned into an urban jungle. Flower artist Mr. Flower Fantastic recreates NYC landmarks, stoops, subways, and slice shops, with thousands of orchids in their flamboyant displays of concrete grit and tropical splendor. Adults 39, children 17, members preview Feb 6. Orchid Nights (21+) also offers music and cocktails when they choose a specific evening. This 20+ year event attracts 200K+ visitors during winter to have photo opportunities, talks, and some of the rare hybrid tours to celebratethe diversity of orchids.
