The MET Gala is one of the high end, prestigious and exclusive fashion events that attracts the entire fashion community to gather around for exemplary fashion statements and in raising funds. The 2025 Met Gala is all set to happen at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on 5 May 2025, a customary tradition to have it on the first Monday of May.
Famous models, actors, athletes, costume designers, pop stars, business personalities and people of various vocational fields are seen at the Met Gala, dorning some of the most beautiful and creative themed designer outfits straight from the world renowned fashion designers. The Met Gala 2025 will have some of the regulars like Zendaya, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Colman Domingo, Doja Cat, Lil Nas X and many more while the gala just announced their co- chairs that has Vogue Editor- in Chief Anna Wintour, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, and musician Pharrell Williams. Rumour from Page Six also states that NBA Star LeBron James as a possible honorary chairperson.
Musicians set to be serving looks include Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill, Lorde, Bebe Rexha, Shaboozey, Shakira, Lizzo and many others. Cinema stars like Ashley Graham, Zendaya, Nicole Kidman, Monica Barbaro, Hunter Schafer, Suki Waterhouse, Jaden Smith, Henry Golding are expected to be there.

Every year a specific theme inspired from literature, personality or lifestyle will be finalised for the celebrities and guests to stick to and present at the Met Gala. This year the theme for the event is ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’ that reflects the sharp and crisp tailored suits and customised menswear and womenswear. Inspired by the revolutionised fashion style of tailored suits and the statement pieces from vivid colours to professional shades plucked right from the Black Dandyism.
The Met Gala is set to commence on 5 May 2025 at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts in New York. The usual Red Carpet coverage will begin an hour before the celebrities start arriving as the fashion presentation in line with the theme will be photographed by thousands and shared all over the internet.
Majority of the celebrities are expected to arrive from 7 PM to 9 PM (ET) while the Red Carpet coverage will begin at 6 PM (ET), 3 PM (PT). For Indian viewers the coverage will begin at 3 AM on 6 May 2025.
The coverage will be live streamed in the Vogue website while fans can also stream it on the Vogue social media pages that will have exclusive interviews and behind the scene moments.
